Lodgerstrip acts as an independent booking and marketing agent for third-party property owners, villa managers, and service providers.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise:
We do not own, manage, or operate the properties listed
We do not control day-to-day property operations
Accommodation and services are delivered by third-party owners or managers
Our role is to facilitate bookings, coordinate communication, and provide client support before and during your stay.
3. Scope of Services
Our services may include:
Property discovery and booking facilitation
Payment coordination (on behalf of owners or managers)
Client support and communication
Concierge-style assistance where offered
The final delivery of accommodation, amenities, and on-site services remains the responsibility of the property owner or appointed manager.
4. Availability & Accuracy
All property listings, descriptions, prices, and availability are provided by third-party owners or managers.
While we take reasonable steps to ensure accuracy:
Availability is subject to confirmation
Calendar or pricing errors may occur
A booking is only confirmed once written confirmation is issued
We are not liable for discrepancies arising from third-party systems, calendars, or late updates by owners or managers.
5. Bookings & Payments
5.1 Payment Handling
Payments may be:
Collected by Lodgerstrip as an agent on behalf of the property owner or manager
Transferred directly to the property owner or manager
Temporarily held before being transferred according to contractual agreements
Lodgerstrip retains a commission or service fee for its services.
5.2 Funds Responsibility
Once funds are transferred to a property owner, manager, or third party, Lodgerstrip has no control over those funds.
Lodgerstrip is not responsible for delays, disputes, or non-performance by third parties after funds have been transferred in accordance with agreed terms.
6. Cancellations, Refunds & Security Deposits
Cancellation policies vary by property and are determined by the property owner or manager.
All cancellation terms are disclosed prior to confirmation
Refunds are governed by the owner’s policy
Security deposits are handled by the owner or manager unless stated otherwise
Important:
Lodgerstrip cannot issue refunds without written authorisation from the property owner or manager.
7. Property Condition & Complaints
Properties are owned and managed by third parties.
If an issue arises during your stay:
It must be reported promptly during the stay
The property manager must be given a reasonable opportunity to resolve it
Lodgerstrip is not liable for subjective dissatisfaction once reasonable corrective action has been offered by the property manager.
8. Liability Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lodgerstrip shall not be liable for:
Acts or omissions of property owners, managers, or service providers
Property condition, utilities, or amenities
Weather conditions, travel disruptions, or force majeure events
Neighbour disturbances or local conditions
Third-party services or experiences
Where liability is established, it shall be limited to the value of Lodgerstrip’s commission for the relevant booking.
9. Reviews, Disputes & Chargebacks
We encourage open and fair communication.
Disputes should be raised directly with us before initiating chargebacks or third-party claims
False, defamatory, or misleading reviews may be disputed where evidence exists
Chargebacks initiated without prior communication may result in evidence submission to payment providers
